This is an awful movie

I've watched this scene a dozen times, and I have to admit, the actor across from Denzel is pretty good. He's clumsy, he exaggerates, I can feel too closely how he's orchestrating the scene and his reactions, but it's still pretty good. I've watched a lot of actors in acting classes and I was an assistant director at a theater where I had a lot of responsibility to rehearse scenes and direct them, and this is pretty decent work. Not stellar, not deeply moving, but very competent.

I’m sorry, but as a Ghostbusters fan, this scene was especially dumb. Phoebe risking actual death for a dead girl is just beyond unreasonable. The conception and motivation for this being derived from the Real Ghostbusters cartoon should have never existed on the same plane as the 1984 Ghostbusters.
